If there's a further referendum, we MUST use this!

It's in Italian with English subtitles, but I think you will agree, it is actually better this way. What a pity we didn't have it earlier! Just under 6 minutes but they're Italians and talk fast, so the sub-titles don't hang about!

Why Article50 is a disaster.

One MEP, Gerard Batten, UKIPs London MEP is convinced there is a better way.

But first, a little about Gerard:

Gerard Batten was a member of the Anti-Federalist League 1992-1993 and a founder member of the UK Independence Party in 1993. He was the Party’s European Election Organiser in 1994 and the first Party Secretary (1994-1997). He has served on the UKIP National Executive Committee at different times. He has fought eleven different election campaigns for the Party over the years.

He was elected as a Member of the European Parliament for London in 2004 and re-elected in 2009 for another five year term. [he was also elected again for the present term] He has written extensively on such subjects as Immigration, the Cost of the European Union, and the European Arrest Warranty and the creation of a European system of criminal law.

In his first term he was a member of the European Parliament’s Security & Defence Committee, and since 2009 he has been a member of the Civil Liberties Justice & Home Affairs Committee. From 2009 he has served as the UKIP MEP’s Chief Whip.

One of the pages in Gerard's website reads:

Referendum Victory! But how can Britain leave the European Union?
24th June 2016

The British people have delivered an historic victory by voting to leave the EU.  It is now the duty of the Government and Parliament to implement that decision.

Politicians and commentators are citing Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty as the only means of leaving.  This is not true!

The quickest and simplest way of leave the EU is to repeal the European Communities Act (1973).  That would restore supremacy of law-making to Parliament.  Parliament could then pass immediate measures to control borders and immigration.

However, all EU Directives have been transposed into Acts of Parliament, and these would remain in force. So chaos would not ensue.  These Acts could then be repealed gradually over a period of time (as short as possible).  We would be left with only the minimum of laws we need to interact with the EU (if it still exists).

I explain this in my book, The Road to Freedom.  The arguments in this book are summarised in a short four-page pamphlet that can by read by clicking on this link. [This will take you directly to the PDF, save it and print it out, and distribute it as much as you can.]

Last but not least, if you hunger for more than the four page summary, you can buy the paperback for £7.99 or the Kindle version for £3.67 on this page on the Amazon UK website.

Help needed with our retribution website. pass this around please

I am looking for an expert Web designer who is voting to leave the EU.
and willing to do this out of love.

But if you give me access to one subdirectory for access to all SHTML files only, additions and changes of copy won't cause you extra work as I am experienced enough to handle that. In addition, by only having access to SHTML files, I can't bugger up your structure :-) Once designed, there will be little for you to do, other than a little housekeeping now and again.

If you don't understand the above paragraph it may be best for you to pass this by.

The name of the web site will be called RETRIBUTION and will last until the 2020 General Election. The web address is

I am also looking for someone willing to fund this with a well established service provider until end May 2020. It will have a page for every pro EU MP and a few extra pages for each class of pro EU companies which trade with the general public.

For more information please use the email form in the left hand column with an abridged CV. I will write back with my full details after checking that you are genuine and not an enemy plant, which I expect to have many of,

My credentials, which can be checked with Leave.EU and GO is that I run a team of over thirty volunteers who leaflet most days and we run a Saturday stall every week for GO in Barnet.

Why I swopped my £1,000+ Longines for a smart watch.

Watches on my wrist

I used to own a Longines, and my wife wears an Omega. But now, I wear an LG G Watch R smart watch. Why have I gone down the el cheapo route?

I paid £199.00 on Amazon for it, although now no longer sold, but two companies offer it for £685 and £689).

I will update the watch for a new watch every year as micro electronics get smaller and smaller and the watches do more and more. So in the end I may actually pay far more than my £1,000 plus Longines.

However, all my phone notifications can, if I so desire, also go to my watch, and I do desire! So much easier than getting the phone out.

I can send texts to people, and even short emails, via voice to my watch, once again so much easier than getting the phone out.

I have my phone bell off and vibrate on, so when someone calls me, my watch vibrates and I can check who is calling and decide whether to take it. So much easier than getting the phone out.

But above all, giving me a feeling of smug superiority when I am on a train, or in a restaurant, and seeing everyone tapping away on their phones.

I'm not really a nice person!
