I have been over zealous with political comment lately so have now accepted the offer to assemble and write for two blogs on the WatchingUK website. The "Good News" blog is for items where we have benefited from the Brexit referendum vote and the "Bad News" blog is where others have tried to damage our chances of leaving the EU.

Some 2,000 year old advice for Cameron by someone who knew!

"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refiled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands curtailed, lest Rome become bankrupt, the mobs should be forced to work and not depend on government for subsistence."

Marcus Tullius Cicero, 106-43 BC.
How we have strayed from the path of good governence, It is difficult to grasp just how illiterate the politicians of just about every politician in the US and the EU. Just look at the mess, caused mainly by the greed of a small handful of people, these two huge areas are in. Is it any wonder that India and China are rapidly taking over?

Empires grow, and empires fall, for no reason other than the artful, cunning and dishonest people see what a success something is, so conspire to take it over for themselves.

The problem is, they don't have the vision or charisma to go forward and take the nation with them.
