APOLOGIES
I have been over zealous with political comment lately so have now accepted the offer to assemble and write for two blogs on the WatchingUK website. The "Good News" blog is for items where we have benefited from the Brexit referendum vote and the "Bad News" blog is where others have tried to damage our chances of leaving the EU.

Food for thought. An open letter on what is happening to the UK's detriment.

Dear Reader,

I write to you today to discuss the present predicament we are in, in Britain.

First of all, I'd like to start up with business. The reason I have added this before politics is because it is the politicians who are crippling British competiveness.

There are three major categories of business.

How I reduced half an hours supermarket shopping to twelve minutes.

How I reduced half an hours supermarket shopping to twelve minutes.

I used my smartphone phone!

It wasn't easy. There are many apps to assist you in shopping, but most of them took more time than they saved, After discarding them, one by one, I was left with one last app, which took longer than the others for the initial set-up, but once done, was very fast in execution.

The app is the “Shopping List Manager” by Valuaphone. It is available both on the Android (Google Play) store and the Apple App store.

There is some good news and some bad news. The bad news is you have to type in everything you buy into the shopping list. The good news is that you can do this on your web browser, using your full keyboard, and then sync to your phone. But if you follow my instructions below, you will see this is the best way of shopping if you rely on a weekly shop.

My supermarket has aisle numbers so the following suggestions are a good one to follow if yours does as well.

So you're new to Twitter? This can be great if you use it properly. Here's how I use it.

What Twitter can do for you.

First of all, it needs to be looked at, either as a hobby, or a good way to spend time in your business for marketing.

I started out on Twitter as my wife has been unwell for over a year and I need to be with her constantly. As a voter for UKIP I thought I would concentrate on politics.

A basic terminology to learn is 'RT' means you have retweeted someone else’s. In other words, you have posted someone else’s tweet to your own followers. If you make changes to a tweet, maybe to correct a bad spelling or reduced superfluous words, then change the 'RT' to 'MT' to signify this.

The reason I mention 'RT' above at this stage is so I could explain what I actually do on Twitter.

If you use an upmarket Android phone you may like some of the apps I use.

Apps I have found useful (Android) however, I will offer a caveat here:

I do use a more powerful version smartphone (Galaxy S4) and some of these apps may not appear as fast on smaller models, if they work at all).

Anyway, make of them what you will, and if you have some of your own favourite apps, feel free to add them under Comments below.

They have all been used for some time now.

How the British Public have been totally betrayed. (30 min. video.)

If you are a friend or contact of mine and can vote for the Conservatives, Socialists or Liberal Democrats after watching this video, I ask you, extremely sincerely, to take yourself far away from our friendship or association.

I have known for over twenty years of all of this, and people have smiled and treated me as an eccentric. I no longer need your company. I have many friends of similar knowledge.

If you don't want to know of the truth of our traitors in parliament, leave this webpage now. You will only unsettle yourself. For those who strive for truth, read and watch on.

Sometimes a dog really is a man's best friend and vice versa

Please bear with me as I am not too well at present, and haven't the strength to copy and paste a long article with photographs.

This story is about a German Shepherd (Alsatian) who was awarded the canine equivalent of the Victoria Cross.

Here's the link.

Enjoy.
