I have just come across a Ford Fairlane car on the US dotcom domain of Ebay and at the time of writing it had attracted just over $4,000!
Described as a "1956 FORD Fairlane Fryer Convertible Gas Grill BBQ" car, it has to be seen to be believed. Bodywork immaculate and there are twelve photographs to see on the Ebay link in the title.
The boot is, of course, in the front, with the engine at the back. The middle photograph shows the "BBQ Grill" ready for action.
Be useful in the American South and South West, not not so much in Britain. But I can see the Aussies, and of course the South Africans going for it a bundle.
The bidding ended on 5th May and didn't reach the reserve. Not hard to fathom when you read that the engine and transmission have been removed!
